The next PR & Comms Strategy workshop will be on Thursday, March 14th 2024 from 9am to 4.30pm (AEDT).  Please check your local times.

As the lines between marketing communications disciplines blur, strategy and creative ideation have never been more important for PR and creative communications professionals.  We have updated this workshop to include new content on running creative brainstorms based on participant feedback.  This one day workshop is highly recommended for anyone who has attended the AM Boot Camp or Star AM.

The Strategy Boot Camp is aimed at PR & Comms practitioners with at least three years’ experience as well as those who have come into agencies from other disciplines.

The format will be highly interactive with recent examples and case studies.

Topics we will cover include:

  • What is strategy?
  • The context for PR & Comms strategy in a changing marketplace
  • Understanding business and marketing strategy
  • Setting measurable objectives
  • Identifying the brand or reputation challenge
  • Reverse brief template
  • Understanding the creative process
  • Design thinking researching techniques
  • Brainstorming processes
  • Recent award winning case studies
